One rotarian. one dollar. one tree.

2017-18 RI President Ian H.S. Riseley’s challenge:

That all Rotarians plant a tree before Earth Day on April 22, 2018.

El Porvenir’s Director of US Operations and Rotary eClub of the Southwest USA member Jenna Saldaña commits to planting trees in rural Nicaragua to support RI President in meeting this goal. Will you join her  and three Colorado Rotary Clubs to meet this challenge? Our goal: Plant 100,000 trees in rural Nicaragua.

Here’s how:

Ask your club members to donate $1, $5, or $10 per member to plant trees. $1 is enough to plant and nurture 1 tree in a rural Nicaraguan watershed.

OR

Travel to Nicaragua and plant the trees yourself. Set up a reforestation trip by contacting Work Trip Coordinator Jo Buescher at jo@elporvenir.org or 720-237-9486.

Thank you to the following Rotary Clubs who have already committed to meeting RI President Riseley’s Challenge:

Rotary Club of Platteville, Boulder Rotary Club, and Rotary Club of Denver SE
